The Cyber View from the Hill

Power Display

Win - Loss - Win - Loss - Win - Loss - Win, we need to improve our consistency weeke in week out. But last weekend in a game that pitted to best packs in the comp against each other, Souths were a clear winner. Taylor returned from Origin camp a better player and it showed on the field.

Hits, Hits and more Hits

The hits from the game were a flashback to the great hits from the 80's. Ben Lowe and Sam Burgess cleaned up Bell and that triggered a 3 try spree. And Taylor had his own war with Waterhouse cleaning him up twice.

Juniors stepping Up

Over the last few weeks we have seen two of our SG Ball junior players step up into U20's Ha'angana and Jack Lee Hang. Welcome to the big league and best of luck.

Salary Cap

Well the NRL has raised the club grant by $200K this week and there is a lot of talk about increasing the Salary Cap by $300K to $4.4mil in 2011, with concessions to long servering players being the proposed model. Interesting to see how this will play out, especially while the Storm grapple with get backup the cap in 2011.
