Bends Zee Knees

So near but so far. All that was required a Dylan Farrell to bend his knees and Souths would have pulled off a remarkable win over the Dogs. So near yet so far.

3 Burgess's play

Congratulations to Sam, Luke and George who played their first ever FG game together.

Koroisau continues to impress

Apisai Koroisau continues to impress with his great plays around the rucks and has a great goal kicking game as well.

The Byes

We really need to change how the byes and SOO period work. The byes are so disruptive to the competition and with 16 teams they are not needed.

Rd 13 Stat Attack

Souths once again drifted out of the game for a 20 min period, where the Dogs put on 4 tries between 25 and the 45 min mark. Effective 1st tackles were improved to 30.8m but disapline mainly of Sam Burgess was very poor in the 25-45 min period.

Looking at our left side defence - Hunt-Farrell-Sutton-SBurgess (1-0-2-2) improved to to 5 missed tackles between them. On the right side Merritt-Everingham-Reynolds-Taylor (1-4-2-6) was very poor with 17 missed tackles between them.

On the positive side Luke and Taylor all cracked 100+m. Defensively Crocker was our best in the tackling raking up 40 tackles. With Luke Burgess, Crocker, George Burgess not missing a tackle.
