Too many errors

Souths made was too many errors and were out muscled by Brisbane in their loss this week. They gave away way too many easy meters.

GI capped off a poor week with Queensland SOO selection, while Dave Taylor has been dropped.

Carr Selection

Congratulations to Ryan Carr was selected in the NSW Residents team.

Pacific Cup - Where is it ?

The ARLC and RLIF need to address the representative schedule for the Pacific Nations. During the SOO weeks there should be a 4 Nation Pacific Cup in progress with NZ, PNG, Fiji and the next best nation. Players won't play for these countries unless there are regular annual matches scheduled.

Rd 16 Stat Attack

Where to start! Statistics across the park were very poor with 14 handling errors(up from 5 last week) and 34 missed tackles up from 14 last week. Conceeding 1719m to the opposition and making 422 tackles while only making 1209m in attack. Effective 1st tackles was very poor this week at 40.8m on the back of too many errors.

Looking at our left side defence - Hunt-Farrell-Sutton-McQueen (1-1-2-2) increased to 6 from 0 last week. On the right side Merritt-Everingham-Reynolds-Taylor (1-0-2-5) was increased to 8 missed tackles between them.

On the positive side only Taylor cracked 100+m once again Defensively Luke, Taylor and Crocker were our best in the tackling raking up 40+ tackles. With Everingham and Tyrrell not missing a tackle.
