Inglis, McQueen and T'eo SOO I Selections

Three South Sydney Rabbitohs players have been selected to represent the Queensland Maroons in the first State of Origin match in 2013, to be played at ANZ Stadium on Wednesday 5 June. Greg Inglis, Ben Te'o and Chris McQueen have all been selected in the Queensland line up to take on the New South Wales Blues in the opening interstate clash of the series. Inglis will start in the centres with both Te'o and McQueen, who will make his debut in Queensland colours in this match, will start from the interchange bench. Inglis, who is Queensland's all-time leading try scorer, will play in his 19th appearance for Queensland, whereas Te'o will make his second appearance for the Maroons, and McQueen his first

Sutton Added to SOO I Squad

Rabbitohs five-eighth John Sutton has been called into the New South Wales Blues camp. Sutton is one of two players being called into the squad to cover for Kurt Gidley was ruled out yesterday with a foot injury.

Butcher, Smith and Hamlin U16 SOO Selections

South Sydney juniors Nat Butcher, Reimis Smith, and Gabriel Hamlin were also selected for the U16 New South Wales State of Origin fixture against Queensland.
