2014 Representative Weekend Selections

Rabbitohs fullback Greg Inglis has been named in the Kangaroos Trans-Tasman Test side to take on the New Zealand Kiwis in the centers. Inglis will resume his position in the Kangaroos side to add to the 28 Test caps he has earned to date. Inglis has been a part of Test-matches, Tri-Nations, Four-Nations, and World Cup Kangaroos teams – most recently appearing in both the centres and at fullback in Australia’s World Cup triumph over the Kiwis in 2013.

Rabbitoh Lote Tuqiri has today (Sunday) been named in a 19 man Fiji Bati side to take on Toa Samoa in the Pacific Test. He was later named to start at center.

Rabbitohs players and Souths Juniors Adam Reynolds and Dylan Walker have been selected in the NSW City Origin team to take on Country in Dubbo. Halfback Reynolds retains his City jumper this year after making his debut in the City v Country fixture in 2013. Centre Dylan Walker will line up for his very first representative match.

Alex Johnston was selected on the wing in the U20 NSW State of Origin side. However he was later ruled out of the match. Aaron Gray was a late inclusion in the NSW SOO U20 team being called up on the morning of the match and selected at center.
