2010 Charity Shield Teams v St George-Illawarra

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their team to take on the St George Illawarra Dragons in the 27th Charity Shield this Saturday 27 February at ANZ Stadium. Rabbitohs Head Coach John Lang has named his strongest line-up for his side’s final pre-season match for 2010. The Charity Shield is recognised as the premier pre-season Club match on the NRL calendar, with last year’s match attracting over 25,000 Members and supporters to the annual fixture. The NRL game kicks off at 8pm with the Toyota Cup match commencing at 6:05pm. Gates will open at 6pm. Proceeds from money raised by the Rabbitohs on the night will go to Souths Cares, helping to fund their community programs they operate throughout the South Sydney and Coffs Harbour districts. The Rabbitohs will also be raising awareness for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). The Rabbitohs will be wearing the OCRF ‘Silver Ribbon’ on the front of their jersey during the Charity Shield.
