Souths bounce back

After a week were we put ourselves under to much pressure, Souths bounced back with a powerful performance. We controlled the game superbly.

Taylor 100 games

Dave Taylor decided to put on a great 100th match performance after being dropped from the SOO III. He dominated Penrith out wide.

Phillips Trifecter

Tryronne Phillips is making the most of his step up from U18's bagging a trifecta against the Panthers.

National Reserve Grade - We Need It

The ARLC really needs to address the reserve grade situation of the NRL competition. As a fan we need to bring back Reserve Grade being played in club colours on match day between U20's and First Grade.

Rd 17 Stat Attack

This week was a much better effort with the most pleasing improvement was the reduction in errors from 14 to 7 Effective 1st tackles was the best all season at 25.6m and showed the work done during the week

Looking at our left side defence - Hunt-Corrigan-Sutton-McQueen (0-2-3-4) increased to 9 from 6 last week. On the right side Everingham-Farrell-Reynolds-Taylor (0-2-3-1) was decreased to 6 missed tackles between them.

On the positive side only Sutton and Taylor and Merritt has great attacking games with Sutton showing a very strong running game. Our forwards dominated with Taylor, Sam & Luke Burgess, Luke and Crocker cracking the 100+m. Defensively Crocker was our best in the tackling raking up 36 tackles. With Everingham, Hunt and Lowe not missing a tackle.
