The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their teams to take on the Penrith Panthers in round 17 of the 2012 Telstra Premiership being played this Sunday 1 July at 3pm at ANZ Stadium. Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire has named a new-look Rabbitohs side due to the selection of Greg Inglis and Dave Taylor in the Queensland State of Origin squad for Origin III. Nathan Merritt moves into fullback with Andrew Everingham shifting to the wing and Shaune Corrigan coming into the centres. Ben Lowe will start in the second row with George Burgess being named on the four-man bench. Rabbitohs interchange forward Jason Clark will play his 50th NRL game this Sunday afternoon, all of which have been in the cardinal and myrtle of the Rabbitohs. The South Sydney junior made his first grade debut in 2009 at home against the St George Illawarra Dragons. Roy Asotasi, Sam Burgess, Matt King, Eddy Pettybourne were unavailable due to injury.
