Adam Reynolds - Dally M Rookie of The Year

Rabbitohs halfback Adam Reynolds has won the Peter Moore Award for the Dally M Rookie of the Year at tonight’s Dally M Awards held at Sydney Town Hall. Reynolds has been a hot favourite to take out the Rookie of the Year Award, having excelled during his debut season for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the number seven jersey. Reynolds, a South Sydney junior who finished second on the NRL point scorers list after the 26 regular season rounds, was presented with his award by retiring Parramatta legend, Nathan Hindmarsh. No less than ten Rabbitohs players and coaches were nominated on 16 occasions across 13 awards throughout the night, with Reynolds taking home the famous statuette as the best newcomer for the season. Prop Sam Burgess finished in the top ten of total vote-getters for the Dally M Player of the Year Award on 18 votes, with the Bulldogs’ Ben Barba taking out the top gong with 32 votes.
