Bryson Goodwin signs for 2013

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to confirm the signing of outside back Bryson Goodwin for season 2013 today. Goodwin, 26, has played four Tests for New Zealand and 77 NRL games in an NRL career that began in 2007 when he made his first grade debut with the Sharks. Goodwin is a noted try-scorer and goal-kicker and will be a valuable addition to the Rabbitohs’ full time roster in 2013. Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire is looking forward to the arrival of Goodwin for pre-season training. “Goodwin is a quality player with both first grade and international experience which will be invaluable for our backline,” Coach Maguire said. “Unfortunately for him he had a season of injury in 2012 but he’ll be joining our squad for pre-season preparations, giving him the best chance to make first grade. “He’s very professional in everything he does and we’re looking forward to him bolstering our options in the backs.”
