The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their teams to take on the North Queensland Cowboys this Friday night at ANZ Stadium with kick off scheduled for 7:35pm. Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire has named the same 19-man squad for this match that defeated the Brisbane Broncos last Friday night in Brisbane. Rabbitohs front rower Roy Asotasi will play his 200th NRL game this Friday night, with Beau Champion set to play in his 100th NRL game. Asotasi has played 115 first grade games for South Sydney to date since making his Club debut against the Roosters in round one, 2007. Champion has played in 74 South Sydney first grade games since making his NRL debut for the Rabbitohs against the Sharks in round 18, 2005. To get an early start to the Mothers’ Day celebrations this weekend, why not bring Mum to the footy on Friday night? Rabbitohs legend Mario Fenech will be calling on 200 kids in the crowd to collect a rose for their Mum at the game, with roses provided by Roses Only. Also, any Rabbitohs or ANZ Stadium Members attending the game, plus ticket holders who have pre-purchased tickets for the Rabbitohs vs Cowboys game, go into the draw to win a Mothers’ Day prize pack valued at $1000 courtesy of Rabbitohs major sleeve partner Kenwood.
