No Difficulty

Souths had no difficulty with Newtown. Billy Cann and Arthur Butler were the heroes of the afternoon. The former coming away from the forwards, and taking passes at the right moment, scored two lovely tries. Souths Defence is proving very strong with only 4 tries conceeded in 6 games.

Arthur Butler improves

Arthur Butler is improving out of sight, and Leveson and he are a splendid double behind the pack.

Combined Juniors

In a first for rugby league, South Sydney Junior district will combine and play the best of the rest of the junior league.

Representative Season

The representative season is now in full swing with 3 weeks of representative football with final matches against the New Zealanders followed by the arrival of the Maori team. This is proving to be a key drawing card as Rugby League gains a foothold. Arrangements for a tour of England are now in full swing.
