At present under Union, the M.R.U.(Metropolitan Rugby Union) bear the cost of outfits, and upkeep of the district clubs.

Under the new League constitution, competing clubs will receive one-third of the net profits from any match they take part in. One third to player match payments. The remaining third going to the League, which has to pay advertising and other expenses. The League further provides medical aid, medicine and £2 per week for a period pf 16 weeks, for any lesser time the player may be incapacitated.

In case of permanent injury, the League will take such steps as may meet and relieve the case. In the matter of players taking part in inter-state or international matches they shall be entitled to receive 7s 6d per day for personal expenses, and may, in addition, receive a further sum of 10s per day for loss of time, or wages.

The League has agreed to the payment of 10/ per match to referees, and the supplying of uniforms free of cost. The League will also allow one guinea as fee to Inter-State referee, together with honour cap. Junior referees are allowed 5/ expenses per match and uniforms.
