Sir Joseph Banks Oval, Botany

Sat Apr 11, 3:15pm

DRAW 3-3

Selected Trial teams

These teams occupied Sir Joseph Banks Grounds, at Botany. The game was a drawn one. South Sydney kicked off, and at once the game became fast and exciting, each team showing good form and a fair knowledge of the Northern Union rules. Jarman got the ball Irom a passing rush, and sent it onto Davis, who evaded the full-back, got through, and scored in a good position for South Sydney. Shortly afterwards Devereaux did the same thing for the other side, and made the scores equal.
