South Sydney, 5 to nil. The game was very fast and determined, South Sydney showing to advantage in passing and general combination. Balmain struggled hard, and a penalty gave them an opening, which Latta turned to account by kicking an easy goal. South Sydney, 5; Balmain, 2. A.Butler picked up from a scrum, and after some capital passing Jarman got across. Conlon converted South Sydney, 10 to 2.
