Judiciary News

Rabbitohs interchange forward Manase Manuokafoa and back-up hooker Issac Luke have submitted early guilty pleas to the NRL judiciary after they were both charged with a grade one dangerous throw following the round 17 game against the Storm on Saturday night. Manuokafoa and Luke were both charged with the offence following their involvement in a tackle on Storm prop Ben Cross in the 25th minute of the Storm's 12-8 win at Bluetongue Stadium in Gosford. The base penalty for the charge is 125 points but with the early plea Manuokafoa has received 93 points which means he is eligible to play in the round 18 game against Parramatta on Sunday. Each 100 points received by a player results in a one match suspension. But due to previous offences during his time with the Bulldogs last season (which earnt him a 50 per cent loading on the offence) Luke has received 187 points for his role in the tackle and will miss the match against the Eels.
