Kidwell,Asotasi 2008 Co-Captains
Kiwi internationals David Kidwell and Roy Asotasi have been named co-captains of the Rabbitohs for the 2008 Centenary season. Rabbitohs Head Coach Jason Taylor informed his team of the appointments yesterday at a training session at Erskineville Oval, the appointments welcomed by the team. Both Kidwell and Asotasi captained the Rabbitohs during the 2007 season, alongside Peter Cusack who has now moved on to Hull FC in the UK Super League. Taylor says that Kidwell and Asotasi have earned their stripes. "I didn't have any hesitation in appointing Roy and David as co-captains as they both did a great job last season," Taylor said. "Roy lead the team well last season and is the current captain of the Kiwis too. Despite not playing most of last year, Kidwell was still a leader at the Club and showed the squad what hard work and commitment can achieve. He returned for our semi-final appearance which was inspirational for the whole team.
