Finally a Win
The Rabbitohs bounced back against a SOO depleted Panthers side with a convincing win. Strong games from John Sutton, Simpson, Merritt and Pettybourne.
Top 8 still in the hunt
We needed that win to stay in the hunt for the top 8, just, we are now 6 wins from the remaining 8 games.
Morgan Leading NYC Tryscorer
Kane Morgan has jumped to the lead of the NYC try scoring list with another 2 try haul on the weekend.
Reserve Grade needs a revamp
Reserve Grade continues to be a issue for NRL clubs. Some teams are putting their players in NSW Cup teams, with the below par training processes with Manly and Canberra are sending their reserve grade players to Queensland. Then we have the issue of only 19 NSW Cup matches compared to 24 NRL matches. And finally a Top 8 from 11 teams. The whole competition needs a revamp. I would rather see a national level or at worst NSW level reserve grade comp with NRL clubs competing and what is NSW Cup and Bundy Cup today merged.
