2009 - The Cyber View from the Hill

5th August 2009

Asotasi Extends

It great news that our captain Roy Asotasi has resigned until 2013. This has removed any potential get out clause issues and sets up a platform for the years to come.

Semi-final football

Now as we head towards the semifinals two styles of play are coming out. We have Melbourne moving back to their crusher/grapple style of play, with countless injuries in the Cronulla match. And Manly ands the Wests-Tigers playing a "sprint" game.

Battle for the 8

Life just got tougher for the NRL team after we succum to the pressure of Semi-final football against the dogs. They boys need to keep composed when in front against the top teams as they will grind their way back into games.

NYC Continue their charge

Our NYC team continue to rack up the points, with another strong showing against the Bulldogs. Strong games from Reynolds, Vai Vai, Morgan, Clark setup the victory. But I am most impressed by the way Shearer is coming along at prop.

Sandow !

What a great performance from Sandow during the match where he stepped up a notch and outplayed Kimmorley for a significant portion of the match. And that punch on Ennis was a crowd pleaser.
