Rabbitohs Representative Weekend Selections

Two Rabbitohs in the form of Greg Inglis and Alex Johnston have today been selected in Tim Sheens’ Australian Kangaroos team to take on New Zealand in this year’s ANZAC Test. Inglis and Johnston will both line up for the Kangaroos in the representative round as the green and golds look to avenge their Four Nations loss to the Kiwis at the conclusion of the 2014 calendar. The match will be Johnston’s Test debut after being selected in Sheens’ Four Nations squad last year and will start from green and gold wing. For Inglis, the match will be his 34th Test for Australia with the Rabbitohs skipper set to start in the centres. Congratulations to both Greg and Alex on their selection.

Luke ANZAC Test Kiwi Selection

Rabbitohs Hooker, Issac Luke, has earned himself selection in the New Zealand Kiwis’ ANZAC Test side to play Australia during the representative round. Luke’s selection will result in his 33rd appearance for the Kiwis, with the hooker set to start the match wearing the familiar number nine jersey.

Millard Pacific Test Fiji Bati Selection

Rabbitohs centre, Daryl Millard has been selected in Head Coach Rick Stone’s 18 man Fiji side to play in the upcoming representative round, with the Rabbitoh set to wear the number six jersey.

Rabbitohs players, Dylan Walker, Luke Keary and Jason Clark have all been selected to play for City in this year’s City v Country clash in Wagga Wagga. Walker has been selected in the centres, while Keary will start at halfback for the annual clash. Clark will start from the bench in the Brad Fittler coached side. Congratulations to Dylan, Luke and Jason on their selection.

During the team medical the following day both Dyaln Walker and Luek Keary were ruled out trhrough injury.

Nicholls and Hyland NSW Residents Selection

Rabbitohs squad member, Darren Nicholls has today been selected in the NSW Cup Representative Team for the annual interstate clash against the Queensland Residents at Tapout Energy Stadium on Sunday 3 May. Nicholls, currently playing for the North Sydney Bears, will line up at five-eighth for the clash, while fellow Bear, Matt Hyland has also been selected.
