The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their 21-man NRL squad for their round 7 fixture against the Penrith at the Penrith Stadium this Friday 26th April at 4:05pm. Head Coach Wayne Bennett has named the same 21-man squad that defeated the New Zealand Warriors at Sunshine Coast Stadium last Saturday. The annual Good Friday clash between the Rabbitohs and Bulldogs is always one of the biggest games on the NRL calendar. Burns, Doueihi, Kennedy, Dillon, Denniss, Ilias are unavailable due to injury.
The Rabbitohs will wear a special ANZAC-inspired jersey this Friday night to commemorate those men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for their country on the field of battle. The jersey features a red poppy design which forms the red hoops on the traditional South Sydney jersey. They will will also wear a dark green version of their 2019 socks.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs will take on the Penrith in the Canterbury Cup and U20 Jersey Flegg Cup matches. With the Canterbury Cup match scheduled to kick off at Friday April 26 5:45pm at Penrith Stadium and the Jersey Flegg under 20s game to commence at Saturday April 27 2:00pm at St Marys Stadium.
