2022 - The Cyber View from the Hill

29th Jun 2022

Week Off Now a Finals Focus

With the representative weekend over and the rest of team having a well earned rest. Its now time to focus on the run home to the finals in the second half of the season. The team need to improve their defence if they are going to make a dent on the 2022 season, with a few losses could see us drop out of the 8. Now off and play Top 4 team Parramatta. Still 7 more wins to make the finals.

Mitchell returns

After a USA rehab session it time to Mitchell back on the paddock and helping the team run into the finals. He has had almost 6 months out and will need to ease his way back from his hamstring injury.

Paulo and Moale International debut

Congrautlations to Jaxson Paulo and Davvy Moale who made their international debuts on the weekend for Samoan and the Cooks Islands. Both will play a big part in the up coming Rugby League World Cup at the end of the season.

Duncan Malta debut

On the back of some good performance Tallis Duncan made his international debut against Lebanon putting in some good work. He continues his steady progress towards a NRL career.

Mailangi and Muru Tonga debut

Seli Mailangi and Shannon Muru made their international debut with the womens Tonga team as they look to further their careers on the big stage. THey joined Keaon Koloamatangi, Silva Havili and Junior Tatola as our Tonga representatives on the weekend.

Last Standalone Representative Weekend

Last weekend saw the last in season standalone representive weekend for the forseable future with the arrival of the Dolphins next year and a return to a full 26 rounds fixture schedule. This is disappointing as the mid season Pacific test in New Zealand was exactly what the game of Rugby League needs. We will now return to SOO being played midweek and all internationals at the end of the NRL season.
