The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their squad for round four of the 2024 NRL Premiership against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs to be played this Good Friday 29 March at 4:05pm at Accor Stadium, the Rabbitohs’ first home game of the 2024 season, for the Mortimer-McCarthy Cup. Rabbitohs Head Coach Jason Demetriou has named Thomas Burgess to start at prop, with Michael Chee Kam and Shaquai Mitchell coming onto the interchange bench. Arrow, Graham, Lovett, Kalo Kalo, Munro, Kennar and Hallie are out injured.
Second rower Jacob Host will play the 100th NRL game of his career against the Bulldogs on Good Friday, having made his debut for the Dragons against the Warriors in round nine, 2016.
Round four will see the Rabbitohs and Bulldogs play for the Mortimer-McCarthy Cup, a trophy paying tribute to two of the greatest family names in Rugby League history, with the trophy presentation taking place at full-time.

The NSW Cup match will be the curtain-raiser match played at Accor Stadium on Good Friday 29 March with kick off scheduled for 1:40pm. Also on Good Friday, the Rabbitohs and Bulldogs will do battle at Redfern Oval in the Jersey Flegg Cup under 21s men’s match with kick off scheduled for 10:30am.

The SG Ball Cup men’s under 19s side will play on Good Friday at Redfern Oval at 12:30pm, the Rabbitohs will play the Raiders in the SG Ball Cup under 19s men’s match.
On Saturday 30 March, the Harold Matthews Cup under 17s boys squad will play Canberra at Seiffert Oval in Queanbeyan at 12pm. Following at 1:30pm will be the Rabbitohs vs Raiders in the Tarsha Gale Cup under 19s women’s match. Also on Saturday, the Lisa Fiaola Cup under 17s girls team will head to Bill Hicks Oval in Wyong to play the Central Coast at 11am.
