The South Sydney team is pleased to announce the following team for the round 1 pre-season cup match against Cronulla-Sutherland at the Redfern Oval on Friday Feb 21 kickoff 8:00pm
Souths will wear red with a green V jersey for the 1975 pre-season cup.
Under the revised knockout rules of the pre-season cup, there will be 35 minutes each way with time off for injuries. In the event of a draw at full-time, no extra time is allowed. The team scoring the most tries wins. If tries are equal, the team with the least number of penalties wins. If penalties are equal, the team scoring the first try wins. If there are no tries and the penalties are equal, the team conceding the first penalty loses the match.
