South Sydney v St George-Illawarra

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their teams for round nine of the 2015 NRL Telstra Premiership, against the St George Illawarra Dragons, to be played at ANZ Stadium on Monday 11 May at 7pm. Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire has named an 18-man squad for this Monday night football fixture, including returning international players Greg Inglis, Alex Johnston and Issac Luke. Turner, Reynolds, Stewart, Whitelaw, Crichton, Musgrove, PJ Lose, Cottrell were unavialble due to injury. Auva'a is out suspended.

The Rabbitohs NSW Cup feeder side, the North Sydney Bears, is set to take on the Newcastle Knights in round nine of the NSW Cup this Sunday 10 May at 3pm at Newcastle Sports Ground #2. Darren Nicholls and Matt Hyland return to the Bears’ line up having represented NSW in the NSW Cup vs QLD Residents representative game last weekend. In other news from the Bears’ squad, the South Sydney Football Club has confirmed that Cody Walker is now eligible for selection for the South Sydney Rabbitohs NRL side. The Rabbitohs have taken this next step to allow Walker to be eligible for selection at all levels within the Club following completion of his counselling sessions and personal development courses, following the support of the Rugby League Players’ Association. As people are aware, Walker has been playing for the North Sydney Bears in the NSW Cup throughout April. The Club has advised the NRL of the decision to allow him to now be eligible for first grade selection, and the NRL has said they support this position. The NSW Cup team is
