South Sydney Rabbitohs winger Campbell Graham has been called into the Australian Men's Nines Squad ahead of the Downer Rugby League World Cup 9s, at Bankwest Stadium on October 18-19, after fellow Rabbitoh Cody Walker withdrew from the squad.

Thomas Burgess Great Britain 2019 Autumn Internationals Squad Selections

Rabbitohs forwards Thomas Burgess have been named in Great Britain’s 24-man Great Britain tour of New Zealand and PNG tour squad. The GB Lions will play Tonga at Hamilton on October 25, New Zealand in Auckland on November 2 and Christchurch on November 9 and Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby on November 16.
Sam Burgess Ruled out of Great Britain Squad

Sam Burgess has been ruled out of contention for Great Britain’s four-match tour of New Zealand and Papua New Guinea this autumn. Burgess ended the NRL season with South Sydney with a shoulder injury. “It’s disappointing to lose players, and they are all gutted to be out of contention for the tour,” said Kevin Sinfield, the RFL’s Rugby Director who has chaired the Great Britain selection panel.

Rabbitohs forward Thomas Burgess has been selected in the Rugby League World 9s. South Sydney Rabbitohs prop Thomas Burgess is biting at the bit to get back on the field for his country when the Sydney Downer 9s start next weekend at Bankwest Stadium.
Tatola Tonga Invitational Test Squad Selection

South Sydney Rabbitohs Junior Tatola is back in the Mate Ma'a Tonga squad for their summer encounter with Australia. Tonga coach Kristian Woolf has praised his players for the character they have shown to stick together in a bid to ensure the island kingdom continues its rise in the international game. Woolf will oversee a full-strength side for Tests against the touring Great Britain Lions at Hamilton on October 26 and Australia at Eden Park on November 2. The announcement of a 21-man Tonga Invitational XIII squad to play the Lions and Kangaroos follows the suspension of the governing body in Tonga by the RLIF after a bitter dispute.

Johnston PNG selection

Congratulations to Alex Johnston who has been selected in the Papua New Guinea Test squad for the upcoming Test matches against Fiji on Saturday 9 November and Great Britain on Saturday 16 November. Johnston will line up alongside 2020 Rabbitohs recruit and fellow speedster, Edene Gebbie, in what will be his first taste of test football in almost five years. "It feels great to be back playing at the international level and even more special that it's to represent my Papua New Guinea heritage," Johnston said. While also a proud Indigenous man, Johnston said his PNG roots stem from his Grandma as "she was born in PNG and grew up in Lumi, a small district in the Sandaun Province."
