Campbell Graham 2022-24 Contract Extension

4th August 2020

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are delighted to announce the three-year contract extension of Australian Nines and senior representative player Campbell Graham until at least the end of the 2024 season. Graham, 21, has played 59 NRL matches for South Sydney following his debut against the St George Illawarra Dragons in round 22, 2017, scoring 24 top grade tries. Graham, a Coogee-Randwick Wombats junior, has represented Australia in Nines, Junior Kangaroos and Australian Schoolboys teams, co-captaining the Schoolboys against the New Zealand under 18s in 2017, and was on the radar of both Wayne Bennett and Brad Fittler last year for potential selection for Great Britain and New South Wales respectively.

Graham is excited to be staying at his junior club. "It really was a no brainer for me, re-signing here at Souths," Graham said. "This really is my club, the only club for me and being from the area, it’s a huge thing for me to be able to pull on the Rabbitohs jersey and represent our Members and the people of the South Sydney district each week. I think we have a great group building here and I’m really excited about the future over the next four years. I think we’ll have some great successes and I think we’ll accomplish our goals for ourselves as well our Members and everyone that supports South Sydney."

Rabbitohs Head of Football, Mark Ellison, said Graham has become an integral part of the Rabbitohs’ backline. "Campbell has become a mainstay of our backline over the past few seasons and he still has a lot of improvement in his game," Mr Ellison said. He’s a home-grown product that loves the Club. He comes from a great family who have settled in the South Sydney district and become just as much part of our Club as Campbell has. He’s also a great attacking weapon with his height and ability to stride out across the ground, as well as being rock solid in defence.“He’s only scratching the surface of his true ability at the moment and we look forward to helping him continue to develop over the next decade into one of the best outside backs in the competition."
