In 1951 Les Brennan came 2nd in 110 yard race for backs on Grand Final day. 1954 premiership winning winger who scored a Souths record of 29 tries in his debut season. He suffered a lower back injury in the 2nd half of the grand final win over Newtown 23-15 at the SCG. He played the first 5 games in 1955 but he discovered that the injury was crushed vertebrae, and he retired from playing.
