Match was postponed while a protest was heard by the NSWRL from the St George v Newtown semi-final. St George had lodged a protest against Newtown who field 3 inellegable players. After their review NSWRL disqualified Newtown from the competition on June 9, awarding the semi-final to St George and rescheduled the final.
