Return to Redfern
What a great day out and a great membership marketing success. The day at Redfern resembled a fan day with everyone enjoying the day including our old foe Bill Harrigan.
Welcome Reynolds
What a great debut by Adam Reynolds, 2008 SG Ball player. Thrust into the game when Hogan was injured after 15 min he setup tries, kicked goals and looked the goods in FG having never played NYC or PL. Corrigan was also another person to play well in his first game in FG.
2 Referees
2009 will see the introduction of 2 referees by the NRL. In the RTR game it created a big 10m and fast play the balls. All looks well for JT's move of Wing back to Hooker in 2009.
Redfern minor improvements needed
Redfern looked a picture at the RTR game but if we grow to 8,000 people next year we do need to increase the toilets and food outlets on match day.
Souths fans flocking back
2009 we have already got over 7,000 season ticket holders and over 12,000 members. This means 2009 will be at least the second best membership ever and our highest ever season ticket holdings. I am looking forward to special Charity Shield this year.
