Nikorima Signs for 2022-23

9th May 2022

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are delighted to announce the signing of experienced international Kodi Nikorima immediately for the remainder of the 2022 season, with a player option for season 2023. Nikorima has been released by the Warriors from the remainder of his playing contract so he can take up this opportunity with the Rabbitohs. Nikorima, 28, has played 145 NRL matches for the Warriors and Broncos since making his debut for Brisbane in 2015, including the 2015 NRL Grand Final. He has played 15 Tests for the New Zealand Kiwis between 2015 and 2019, as well as representing the Maori All Stars in 2020.

Rabbitohs Head of Football, Mark Ellison, says Nikorima will add to the Rabbitohs’ depth across the park. "He will add depth to our side across many facets of the game and we feel he can bring another dimension to our attack as well as strength to our defence when he is on the field. His experience will also be valuable to many of the young players we have in our squad. We look forward to seeing Kodi in our cardinal and myrtle jersey this season."
