A New Era undeway

Its been a long time coming but the new Rugby League season is underway. And South Sydney began on the right foot with a good win over North Sydney. It is very evident that the removal of the "line-out" is going to have make the game very different from the old Rugby Union.

Tommy Anderson First Try Scorer

Tommy Anderson will go down in history as South Sydney first ever try scorer.

Arthur Hennessy First Captain

1907 Pioneer Arthur Hennessy has been named the clubs first ever captain. This honour is on top him being NSW's first ever captain.

Redfern Oval secured

The League has secured Redfern Oval for the use of Rugby League. After the ground is fenced and seating added in, it will be great asset when ready.
