The South Sydney club has announced the first grade team for the Trial against Newtown at the Metter's Ground, Erskenville on Saturday April 9 starting at 3:30pm. The league's new ground (Metter's Sports Ground) at Erskensville will be opened to-day. A good programme has been arranged. Aprt from the two football matches, Newtown v South Sydney and Annandale v Glebe, the Newtown Harriers will run a 880 yard race during the interval of the second match.
