2015 - The Cyber View from the Hill

15th July 2015

The similarities with 2014 are uncanny

After 18 rounds and if you look at our 2015 and compare it 2014 the similarities are uncanny. Key long term injuries, mid bye slump and now players all starting to come back for a run to the finals. And after all that still equal 4th. Lets hope the team can pick themselves up and put the focus in that is needed for a title defence. Still another 4 wins to qualify for the finals and 6 wins out of 8 for a Top 4 finish.

Inglis great Origin game

Greg Inglis started slowly in teh Origin period while suffering from the flu, but by the end it was a powerhouse helpg guide Queensland to a record win over NSW.

Welcome Back Turner

After a horrific pre-season injury we see Kyle Turner return to the field this week. He will be wearinga Brett Tate style neck brace. Everyone is wishing him well in his return.

Hamlin a shinning light

I what is fast becoming a poor U20s season Gabe Hamlin is shinning light after he stepped up from U18s. His pwerful running is a highlight of the year.

ARLC Insurance scheme

Congratulations to the ARLC who finally delivered a very important item for ALL of the rugby league game across Australia. The new whole of teh game Insurance scheme replaces a 16 year out of date insurance scheme that went into a holding pattern during the News Ltd years. It is a vital and important step forward in the way junior players through the Australian national team will be insured in case of injury.
