2023 NRL Premiership Round 19 Teams

South Sydney v Canterbury-Bankstown

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their squad for round 19 of the 2023 NRL Premiership against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs to be played this Saturday 8 July at 7:35pm at Accor Stadium, in the Club's final game in Sydney before round 27, the last round of the regular season. Rabbitohs Head Coach Jason Demetriou has named Isaiah Tass to return to the centres following the birth of his first child on Sunday. Dean Hawkins (five-eighth), Ben Lovett (second row), Shaquai Mitchell (lock) and Peter Mamouzelos (interchange) will replace the Rabbitohs' State of Origin contingent of Cody Walker, Keaon Koloamatangi, Cameron Murray and Damien Cook, with Tallis Duncan also named on the interchange bench. L.Mitchell, Graham, Arrow, Thompson, Cartwright, J.Gray, Subloo and Kalo Kalo are out injured. Host is out suspended. Walker, Murray, Koloamatangi, D.Cook and E.Ferguson are on representative duties.

Round 19 will see the Rabbitohs and Bulldogs play for the Mortimer-McCarthy Cup, a trophy paying tribute to two of the greatest family names in Rugby League history, with the trophy presentation taking place at full-time.

This weekend, South Sydney and Canterbury-Bankstown will don limited edition CF rose socks to show their support, raise awareness and much-needed funds to support children living with cystic fibrosis.
