Lisle was a Rugby international when he joined South Sydney. Lisle had one of the most dramitic rises into representative ranks. In his first season he suffered a knee injury in pre-season training, set him back from his early career. But after returning from injury and playing only one game in reserve grade and then debuting in first grade he was selected for City Seconds and then called up into the NSW team. Dual International.
