Jim McCormack played in the premiership decider for South Sydney in 1935.
McCormack is a South Sydney junior, who played South Sydney junior reps in 1929 and 1930, with the U21 Presidents Cup teams.
He made his South Sydney senior grade debut in Third Grade the second playoff against St George at the Sports Ground. McCormack spend time in the country before he returned and made his South Sydney first grade and premiership debut in Round 1 1935 against University at the Sports Ground.
McCormack played for 4 seasons at South Sydney. He played 20 first grade games, including 17 first grade premiership and one first grade cup games. He played 24 senior grade games with South Sydney including 21 senior premiership grade games. After playing in the 1935 premiership final, he played his last first grade game in the Round 1 of the 1936 Night Competition against Western Suburbs at the Sports Ground.
