Two time South Sydney premiership winner in 1908 and 1909.
Storey was born in Lancashire, England. But came out to Australia at the turn of the century. He played for Alexandria RU before stepping up to play for South Sydney RU. In 1908 he came across to rugby league and made his debut in the inagural 1908 Round 1 South Sydney first grade premiership match against North Sydney at Birchgrove Oval.
Storey played 3 seasons with South Sydney between 1908 and 1912. He played 14 first grade club games, which included 13 first grade premiership games.
Storey made his representative debut in the 1908 Possibles v Probables clash, before being selected for New South Wales against the New Zealand Maori. Overall Storey played 4 representaive games with with South Sydney, which included one game for New South Wales.
Storey played his final first grade premiership game in the 1909 Semi-Final clash against Newcastle at the RAS Showground. His final first grade club game for South Sydney was in the hastially arranged match against a Combined First Grade team in place of the premiership final when Balmain forfieted the premiership decider.
